My very first novel, Rook, was released in March of 2021! I have received so much support from family, friends, and strangers alike. It has filled me with a happiness that I have never quite experienced before, and I am filled with gratitude for all of it.
On Sunday, May 23, my parents, Roseanne and Ronald, graciously opened up their home to allow me to come for a visit and host a book signing. The entire day was such a wonderful experience! I am thrilled to have had the chance to spend time with, chat, laugh and simply enjoy so many fans of Rook!
I am typically not someone who enjoys having my photo taken, however, on this day, I was photographed more times than I could possibly count, and surprisingly, I was totally okay with it! Ha!
Thank you to every single one of you who took the time to come over and speak with me! It was amazing getting to spend time with so many people who filled my day with nothing but smiles and laughter! I will cherish that day forever!
Huge “thank yous” go out to my parents (as I mentioned above), my sister, Gina, and her husband, Jerry, for going above and beyond to make that day (and week) so enjoyable, and my oldest son, Tristan, who has made and continues to make my life so much easier by taking charge of my obligations, making my schedule run so smooth, and handling the technical stuff that he knows I am clueless about. He is one in a million and I have never been so proud of the wonderful man he is, and the amazing son that I simply don’t deserve.
Life is incredibly busy and chaotic for everyone anymore, and knowing that, I am ecstatic that so many of you took the time to come and grab a photo and signature, and enjoy a beautiful day with me. To those of you who couldn’t make it out, I appreciate your buying my book and giving me, a new author, a chance to fill your library with a bit of mystery.
Currently, I am in the research phase of beginning a new book. The process is long and tedious, but I adore every second of it! I will keep you updated on my progress and with any luck, we can begin a new journey together once again.
